Dear Faculty and Staff,

Welcome back to campus and to the start of the spring semester.

I want to begin by thanking you for the extraordinary work you do every day on behalf of our students and our university. LSU’s strength as the flagship institution of Louisiana rests on your teaching, scholarship, service, and dedication, and I am grateful for the commitment you bring to this campus.

As we begin a new semester, we remain focused on our core mission - student success, research excellence, and service to the people of Louisiana and beyond. Your efforts in the classroom, the lab, the clinic, the office, and across our campus make that mission real and measurable.

This spring, we will continue working together to strengthen the student experience, support faculty research and scholarly work, and ensure that LSU is positioned for continued growth and national distinction. I value your ideas, your expertise, and your partnership as we move forward.
