Provost's Fund: seminar/collaborator Support Fund
The Provost’s Fund for Innovation in Research has established the Seminar/Collaborator Support Fund to encourage collaborative research exchange with scholars from academic and government agencies (e.g. national labs), workshops for the benefit of faculty and students at LSU, and hosting of academic seminars.
Note: This was previously the Conference Support Fund.
Seminar / Collaborator Support fund awardees (FY23-24)
Scope and Funding
Awards will up to $7,500 to for the purpose of hosting academic scholar seminars,
collaborative research events or workshops, aiming to foster knowledge sharing with
researchers, scholars, and artists outside of LSU. Awards will be made on a competitive
basis and upon demonstration that the event or collaboration will enhance the experiences
and research opportunities for our faculty and students.
Allowable expenses include travel expenses for participating collaborators or artists,
equipment or facility rentals, and professional service fees.
Eligibility
This program is open to tenured and tenure-track faculty. Individuals may receive up to one award per fiscal year.
