Celebrating Faculty Excellence

The Presidential Laurels were created in 2022 by the LSU President and the LSU Boyd Professors to celebrate faculty from across the LSU family of institutions. These Laurels recognize top performers in their fields who have received major national or international awards. Potential honorees are considered by nomination. The final selection is made by the Boyd Professors, holders of the highest and most prestigious academic rank at LSU.
