Tiger Teacher Corps reimagines teacher preparation.
Tiger Teacher Corps pairs early classroom experiences with mentorship and financial support. In addition, a $1.3 million TRIO grant expands advising, tutoring, and PRAXIS preparation for first-generation and Pell-eligible future educators.

Louisiana Future Educator Honor Roll
Two Education students were recognized by the Louisiana Board of Regents during the sixth annual Future Educator Honor Roll ceremony at the historic Old State Capitol. Ameyah Johnson, a Master of Arts in Teaching–Elementary student, and Mia Scherer, a General and Special Education Grades 1–5 student, were selected for their excellence during their residency experiences and their commitment to Louisiana’s future students.
